The Lion is an 18th century coaching inn that was originally two buildings (called the vaults and Lion respectfully) over the years they have been joined to become The Lion Hotel, being further extended in the 1990’s when a further 16 rooms were added.

In recent years, The Lion was lovingly refurbished, bringing it back to its former glory. With a luxurious interior and it’s charming 18th century architecture, The Lion Hotel is now one of the most popular hotels in Derbyshire.

The Boars Head

Owned by the Crooks family since 1984 and originally a coaching inn, The Boars Head Hotel has been developed over the years into one of the best known eateries and hotels in Derbyshire.

Situated in the stunning Derbyshire countryside, The Boars Head is tastefully decorated to please all and is home to a wonderful restaurant, traditional carvery and home cooked bar food.

The Littleover Lodge

The Crooks family bought Littleover Lodge in 2000 and have continued to lovingly develop and modernise the hotel since.

Originally a Georgian farmhouse, the hotel is now home to 15 modern bedrooms which were built in the early 1990’s to create a homey lodge style.
