Our dads are usually the person we turn to when times are hard, the calming arm around our shoulders, the soothing voice saying everything will be okay. But this year, we have had to do more video calls, meeting in the great outdoors and pictures sent of life events. So this fathers day, while we still can, pull out all of the stops and bring your dad down to The Boars Head Hotel.
What’s On The Menu
For fathers day this year, there is no set menu, but a great selection of specials available on the day. The selection includes everything from the big daddy burger, to succulent steaks and maybe even a salad for the dad whos trying to watch his figure.
With something available for everyone, there’s no need to worry, but if you have any specific dietary requirements, please speak to our team when you book to make them aware.
For The Mums
There are many families in which mum takes on the father role too, so they too deserve to be celebrated. So this year, bring mum down, and she can take on the big daddy burger, with a nice cocktail on the side. After all, she deserves it too.
Puds On The Menu
Who’s dad says no to a pudding? The old saying goes that there is a second dessert stomach, well most dads have two dessert stomachs. So make sure to treat him to his favourite! Whether it’s a classic apple tart, a tasty raspberry Bakewell, or even just a scoop of ice cream, they’re sure to enjoy it. On the day, we will even have a fresh selection of special puds for you to choose from!
