Chatsworth House, farmhouse and gardens are wonderfully decorated from early November which makes for a beautiful family day-out. While gazing at the gorgeous decorations you can also wander around the Christmas markets.

Here at The Boars Head, we will take care of you and your family from the moment you arrive. On Christmas Eve, you will be treated to a three-course meal in a festive atmosphere complemented by a wonderful local brass band. On Christmas Day, we make sure to keep everyone energised for opening presents with our delicious Christmas breakfast. Then, you can look forward to your seven-course Christmas dinner, and if you are still hungry then you can join us for our buffet supper! On Boxing Day, we will provide hearty breakfasts plus a three-course dinner when you are back from Boxing Day sale shopping. We wouldn’t let you leave hungry – join us for the perfect send-off with another delicious breakfast before you set off home – the perfect ending to a luxurious Christmas of delicious food!
3) Luxurious winter getaway
What better way to spend Christmas than in absolute luxury. Get away for a few days and escape to a Christmas retreat! Get out of the cold and enjoy a stay at our hotel in our luxury beds and ensuite baths. Here at The Boar’s Head, we will take care of you from Christmas Eve up until the day after Boxing Day, unless you plan on treating yourself to an extra night or two!
