A roast is a firm, British favourite – delicious, tender meats accompanied with potatoes, vegetables and lashings of gravy. Usually consigned to a Sunday meal, here at The Boars Head Hotel you can have this comforting meal seven days a week with our carvery.
Our Restaurant in Sudbury
We source only the very best ingredients for our carvery, to provide a delicious roast which is perfect for a quick midweek dinner, or a leisurely weekend lunch. Our carvery is available 12pm-2pm every lunch time and 6pm-9.30pm and all day Sunday. It’s not essential, but it is advised to book especially on Sundays as it can become especially busy. Our restaurant is located in Sudbury, Derbyshire and is the perfect place for dinner after you’ve been exploring our local countryside. We have a wide selection of attractions close by including Sudbury Hall and the National Trust Museum of Childhood.
We also serve bar meals daily 12pm-10pm, as well as an a la carte menu in our restaurant – so we really do have something to suit every taste.
