As we approach the summer months, it only feels right that we update our menu to suit the weather. So along with our classics, we now have a selection of summer favourites too! So why not call in and take a look at what tickles your tastebuds.
Sumptuous Starters
Where starters are there for you to try something new, or just get your appetite going, we certainly have some classics on our menu! Our starter menu this season is all about the classic starter favourites. With delightful garlic mushrooms and a king prawn cocktail in prime place, we also have honey and garlic roast chicken wings, or a stunning crispy chilli beef!
The Main Event
For mains, we’ve also gone traditional! However, you can still find our fajitas and yakatori’s on the menu, we know how loved they are! On our mains, you will find all the favourites, classic beer-battered fish, succulent beef lasagnas, confit belly pork and even the minted lamb shank! Is your mouth watering yet? Of course, we cannot forget the nut roast, the vegetarian moussaka and the fabulous butternut squash, sweet potato & spinach curry!
The Daily Specials
Are you willing o wait until the day of your visit before you can pick out what to eat? Great! We have daily specials available, including a roast of the day and the skipper’s catch, complete with the chef’s very own accompaniments. How perfect!
Lighter Dishes
The sun is blazing, and you don’t always want to go big when it comes to your meals. So why not tuck into a lighter meal? Our sandwiches are available on Spencer’s brown or white bap, or a tortilla wrap. Or opt for one of our house salads, with your choice of topping, including tempura beef, and breaded goat’s cheese.
Perfect Puddings
No meal would be complete without a delightful pudding to finish. That’s why we have followed suit with our puddings and gone for a more classic approach. Wondering if your favourite is on the list? Well, it just might be! Our pudding menu changes almost daily, so while we have a few favourites, they might not always be on the menu. Just a sample of what you might find includes traditional bread and butter pudding, sticky toffee pudding, apple and blackberry crumble and a good old English cheeseboard!
