Following the government’s recent announcement that the roadmap can continue to go as planned, we are excited to announce that we will be reopening this month! Whilst we may be restricted to outdoor service, we can’t wait to be able to welcome you back. We’ve truly missed each and every one of you and can’t wait to welcome you back to Sudbury with a brand new gastropub menu from Wednesday 14th April.
New Outdoor Gastropub Menu
As if opening back up wasn’t exciting enough, we’ll also be debuting a brand new menu to those that book a table with us. This Outdoor Gastro Menu is packed full of dishes to tantalise your tastebuds. Whether you’re looking for a light bite to accompany your drinks or a full two course meal, we’ve got you covered.
If you’re looking for something to snack on, speak to our staff to see whether the Soup of the Day tickles your fancy, or treat yourself to our BBQ Chicken Wings glazed in a honey and bourbon sauce. For mains, enjoy some international cuisine courtesy of our expert and experienced chefs. From Spiced Chicken Curry to Beef Lasagne, we’ve got something to cater for everyone. Not to forget our grill, where you can also enjoy the most succulent steaks and sizzling fajitas. If you feel like you’ve got the room, you can even treat yourself to a few of our side dishes such as Garlic Bread, Onion Rings and Curly Fries.
What Will it Look Like?
In order to accommodate for the fact that we can only serve outside, we have worked hard to deliver the best possible experience to our customers. As a result, we are able to offer a gorgeous setting for your first meal out after lockdown in our Champagne Terrace.
After waiting for so long, we’re not letting the weather get in the way either, with each pre-booked table in our Sudbury gastropub being located under cover. In order to cater for those that decide to visit us on the day, we will also have an area available on a first come first served basis. Therefore, if you’re looking for food near Alton Towers upon its reopening, come along to the Boars Head Hotel.
Our Outdoor Gastro Menu will be served from Wednesday to Sunday between 10am and 8pm.
How to Book a Table at The Boars Head Sudbury?
In order to pre-book a table with us for the grand reopening of our gastropub, give us a call on 01283 820344. Alternatively, you can also message us on our Facebook page. Each of our pre-booked tables come with the added benefit that they are beneath cover. However, if you happen to visit us on a whim, we will also have some non-covered tables available on our Champagne Terrace on a first come first served basis.

When you dine with us, you will be served only the finest fresh ingredients from our experienced chefs with a wealth of culinary knowledge. Each of our dishes are made to order and carefully crafted to ensure that you get a truly unforgettable experience.
