Just a stone’s throw away from the Peak District and bordering Staffordshire, we’re close enough to treat you to an excellent lunch or dinner on the hoof, whilst far enough away for a beautiful, luxurious getaway. Our serene and green location means we’re surrounded by fields and glorious countryside, whether you’re dining in our restaurant or sitting outside – weather permitting of course!
The Finest, Traditional Carvery
If you choose to dine with us, our carveries are perfect for filling hungry tummies. Made with the freshest ingredients and always well stocked with a mouth-watering selection of meats and locally sourced veg, this popular choice has guests coming back to us time and time again. What’s more, our carveries aren’t just reserved for Sundays. If you’re craving a roast, our famous carvery choice is available at our restaurant in Derbyshire from Monday to Saturday, 12 pm-2 pm and 6 pm – 9:30 pm, and all day on Sundays.

Whatever the reason (we don’t judge!) our Afternoon Tea offering includes a selection of homemade cream cakes and cones served alongside a range of taste bud tingling sandwiches and of course a pot of tea. Our Afternoon Teas are perfect for making any occasion that bit more special as you spend a few hours catching up in the warm and welcome surroundings of our bar area. Afternoon tea is served between 12 pm and 5 pm, Monday through Saturday, and booking is essential to guarantee your table.
