At this time of year, we get to treat our mothers to a wonderful day, exquisite dining and of course fabulous company. At The Boars Head, we invite you to treat mum to a dinner for two, or to make it a bigger event and invite the family. Our Mother’s Day treat this year includes, to start crispy sesame seed chicken fritta or maybe some compressed melon, for mains maybe traditional roast silverside of beef, or perhaps beetroot & squash wellington. This year, we want to celebrate mums in all their forms. Step mums, foster mums, adoptive mums. The women who have taken us under their wing and supported us, we want you to treat them all. It takes an incredible amount of love to treat someone as one of your own and we love it when you want to share the love in return. We are a child-friendly restaurant, so if you have a little one who wants to treat their mum, bring them along too! We cater for little appetites too so there’s no need to worry if they won’t want to order from our set menu, the Children’s Menu will also be available.
