The year is almost over and 2018 has been one of our best years to date at The Boars Head and we couldn’t have done it without you. Over the last 12 months, we’ve welcomed customers through our doors who have eaten, drank, stayed and celebrated at our hotel in Derbyshire and we’ve loved hosting every one of you and we hope to more of the same in 2019! We are a proud family hotel in Derbyshire and we hope you have enjoyed your time with us.
As the year is almost over, we thought we’d share just a few of our highlights before we do it all over again in 2019.
What’s been going on at our Hotel in Derbyshire during 2018
2018 has been another fantastic year for The Boars Head with so many wonderful memories and friends being made. Here is a small break down of all the wonderful things that have gone on at our hotel in Derbyshire during 2018.
Love was in the air at the start of the year! We hosted romantic Valentine’s day meal. A three-course dinner in the heart of the picturesque Derbyshire countryside, The Boars Head welcoming countless couples who chose us for their special evening.
Spring was all about the food; our chefs work tirelessly to feed the many guests who were looking for a spring getaway. Multiple storms hit the UK during spring, but our chefs kept our guests warm and fed while we got out of the cold. We also added a few new items to our menu which went down a storm!
Summer was all about the sport and warm weather at our bar in Derbyshire. Together we celebrated England’s heroic World Cup campaign and although we didn’t win, the memories will live on. If a brilliant summer of football wasn’t enough, Derbyshire was lit up by beautiful sunshine and warm weather and our beer garden was full of sun seekers cooling off with a nice cold drink… or two!
The year is not over though and we’re looking forward to our Gold New Year’s Party! The perfect bookend to 2018 is our Gold Party. We’re hosting a four-course meal with drinking and dancing as well as a resident DJ playing requests throughout the night. If you’re joining us this New Year’s Eve lets end the year in style.
