Christmas is slowly slipping into our collective consciousness. With aisles full of festive cheer and those all important choccies front and centre in the shops, dare we say it…it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
As you’d expect, we are preparing ourselves for one of the busiest and best times of the year at The Boars Head. Already we’ve got a range of mouthwatering menus planned for December, including our all new Festive Breakfasts!
And if our yummy Yuletide offerings weren’t enough, we’ve also planned for New Year’s Eve too! Here at The Boars Head Hotel & Restaurant in Derbyshire, we’ll be holding a luxurious Masquerade Party on the 31st December 2019. And we’d love it if you could join us!
New Year’s Eve At The Boars Head Hotel
If you’re on the hunt for New Year’s Eve parties in Derbyshire then we’ve got just the thing. Forget a quiet night in front of the television waiting for the fireworks. Instead, join us at The Boars Head Hotel for a night filled with good food and drink in the gorgeous Derby countryside.
This ticket only event will start at 7pm with a delicious 4 course meal. We’ve got sumptuous starters to choose from, including hot smoked salmon and wild mushroom arancini. Then, to cleanse your palate and prepare you for the main course, a celebration inspired pink Champagne sorbet. We also have a choice of showstopping mains from perfectly prepared duck breast with dauphinoise potatoes to pea, spring onion, sweet potato & smoked brie frittata. And, true to form, to finish you can pick from our extensive pudding menu or a traditional selection of cheese and biscuits.
We couldn’t think of a better way to say farewell to 2019 than with a spread like that! And, of course, you will be totally spoilt by our friendly staff throughout the evening.
Dance ‘Till You Drop
After that gorgeous 4 course meal, it’s time to get your dancing shoes on ready to celebrate the arrival of 2020. Our DJ will be spinning records until late into the night and the chiming of Big Ben will ring out across the dance floor at midnight to a merry rendition of Auld Lang Syne.
This year, our new year’s eve party in Derbyshire is a Masquerade party, so dressing to impress is a must!

Tickets for our New Year’s Eve Masquerade Party are on sale now for £70pp. The price includes your 4 course feast and entry to the party, and it’s set to be one of our biggest and best ever. In recent years, our New Year’s events have sold out fairly quickly so don’t delay in securing your table.
