It’s the second week of December and we’re feeling decidedly festive at JC hotels in Derbyshire! Maybe it’s the cold weather? Or perhaps it’s because we’ve started to hear Christmas songs on the radio? Whatever it is, the Christmas spirit has well and truly arrived and we are set to welcome it in style throughout the festive period.
Both here and at our sister hotels, Littleover Lodge and The Lion Hotel, we’ve got a whole host of Yuletide menus on offer for guests and visitors. Not to mention our special Christmas breaks!
Christmas Fayre Lunch & Evening Menus
At JC Hotels in Derbyshire, we love Christmas almost as much Santa himself! Which is why we kicked off our Christmas Fayre Lunch & Evening menus on 30th November this year. And we’ll continue to serve them right up until 31st December because we know the festivities don’t stop until the New Year’s Day!
These delicious 2 or 3-course menus are perfect for families who want to get together prior to the big day, or work gatherings.
Festive Sundays
We’ve already hosted two Festive Sundays at The Boars Head. And we’ve got three more scheduled on December 15th, 22nd and 29th. These delicious 3-course meals are just £20pp and include festive favourites such as tomato & basil soup, roast silverside of beef and buttered roast turkey breast.
For lunch or dinner, our Festive Sundays are bound to get you into the Christmas spirit. What’s more, you only need to bring yourself and your favourite people – we’ll do all the rest.
Festive Breakfasts
To keep the post-Christmas slump at bay, we’re continuing the festivities after the 25th with our Festive Breakfasts. From Friday 27th December to Monday 30th December, guests and visitors can start their day in pure luxury with a 3-course brekkie including croissants, Danish pastries, a full English and pancakes. For a real celebration, we’ll even add a glass of champagne to proceedings if you’d like for only £5 extra!

New Year’s Eve at Hotels in Derbyshire
To round things off, we’re hosting a fantastic New Year’s Eve celebration on the 31st. Guests will enjoy a stunning 4-course meal followed by a party of epic proportions right up until midnight!
